New Pool Regulations in Quebec
Did you know that new regulations for residential pools will come into effect in Quebec? As of September 30, 2025, all pools—whether in-ground, semi-in-ground, or above-ground with walls less than 1.2 meters high—must:
- Be surrounded by a safety fence at least 1.2 meters high.
- Prevent the passage of a 10 cm diameter ball.
- Be designed to prevent easy climbing.
These measures are aimed at ensuring the safety of your loved ones and preventing accidents.
